Communication 2015 -7 <br />February 10, 2015 <br />Tiffany Kai, Administrator <br />Hawai"i County Mass Transit Agency <br />1266 Kamehameha Ave, Suite A -2 <br />Hilo, Hawaii, 96720 <br />RE: Mass transit improvements <br />Aloha; Ms. Kai, <br />In order for the Puna Community Development Plan (PCDP) Mass Transit Subcommittee to further <br />evaluate how best to assist the Mass Transit Agency (MTAj in the implementation of PCDP requirements <br />for improving the Puna mass transit system, the Subcommittee is requesting the following information: <br />1. - Island -wide, by size, how many buses are operational and which areas are they serving? <br />2. A status of the development of the Hawai'i Island Mass Transit Master Plan. <br />3. A status of the development of mass transit service to the airports and post offices. <br />The Mass Transit Subcommittee meets monthly en + "^ ^ ' ►esda on the fourth Tuesday of every <br />month at 3:30pm at the Kea "au Community Center.
