ADA Coordinator’s Report
February2015
We received a request for a modification from a person who is blind to pave a road
shoulder so she can navigate more easily on Pi’ilaniSt. We are also researching
accessible pedestrian signals along Kamehameha Avenue from Manono St. to
Kanoelehua.
We received a request from a person in North Kohala who attends basketball games at
the gym to provide handrails on the bleachers there. I forwarded the request to the
Director of Parks andRecreation.
