The investigatory subcommittee created by the Action Committee on March 9, 2015 will provide their recommendations to amend the Hawaii County General Plan during the comprehensive review of the General Plan initiated by the Planning Director, for the AC to make a motion to forward the recommendations to the Planning Director with comments due by June 6, 2015. B. The Action Committee will consider the merits of, and will decide whether to, form a subcommittee or investigatory subcommittee for historical and cultural preservation, consistent with the NKCDP Strategy No. 1.6. V. SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS A. Growth Management 1. Report on land use applications submitted to the Planning Department B. Public Access Public access to coastal areas – updates on trails and access easements: Akoakoa 1. ADJOURNMENT Notice: If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawaii County Clerk within five working days (prior to meeting date) of becoming a lobbyist {Article 15, Section 2-91.3 (b), Hawaii County Code}. A lobbyist means “any individual engaged for pay or other consideration who spend more than five hours in any month or $275 in any six-month period for the purpose of attempting to influence legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging others to communicate with public officials.” {Article 15, Section 2-91.3(a) (6), Hawaii County Code} Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service, other reasonable modification, or language interpretation to access this meeting please contact the Planning Department at 961-8288 as soon as possible, but no later than five working days prior to the meeting date, to arrange for accommodations. “Other reasonable modification” refers to communication methods or devices for people with disabilities who are mentally and/or physically challenged.
