Hawaii Police Commission Meeting Agenda September 11, 2015 Page 2 EXECUTIVE SESSION The commission will meet in executive session to consult with Corporation Counsel on questions and issues pertaining to the commission's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities; to consider discipline and charges against officers or employees of the Hawai'i Police Department; and to consider sensitive matters relating to public safety pursuant to HRS 92-5 (a) (2) (4) (6) and the Hawai'i County Charter Section 13-20 (b). INVESTIGATION AND DELIBERATION OF COMPLAINT • Complaint HPC 15-17: Complainant complained about how officers handled the situation between him and his landlord and the resulting police reports. • Complaint HPC 15-18: Complainant complained about the procedures following his arrest. • Complaint HPC 15-19: Complainant alleged racism and unprofessionalism on the part of responding officers. • Complaint HPC 15-20: Complainant alleged that an officer drove recklessly during her traffic stop. • Complaint HPC 15-23: Complainant alleged that officers used excessive force and falsely detained her. • Complaint HPC 15-24: Complainant complained about procedures and paperwork following his arrest. • Complaint HPC 15-25: Complainant complained that an officer told him he was not arrested and to go home. • Complaint HPC 15-27: Complainant complained about officers coming onto their property to investigate stolen property. • Complaint HPC 15-28: Complainant complained about how officers treated her husband and about the responses they received regarding the incident.
