Hilo's Charles "Sparky" Kawamoto Swim Stadium
Closing Temporarily for Repairs on Friday, January 29
The Hawaii County Department of Parks and Recreation will close Hilo's
Charles "Sparky" Kawamoto Swim Stadium all day Friday, January 29, so
needed repairs and maintenance may be performed at the pool.
Normal operating hours will resume on Saturday, January 30, when
Kawamoto Swim Stadium will reopen for public recreational and adult lap
swimming at 8:30 a.m.
The Department of Parks and Recreation apologizes for any inconvenience
the temporary closure might cause and thanks pool patrons for their
understanding while the needed repair and maintenance work is
performed.

Hawaii County's nine swimming pools are listed online at-
