Persons wishing to provide oral testimony are asked to submit a completed request form to the Puna CDP project manager prior to the completion of each public testimony portion of the meeting. Oral testimony shall be limited to three (3) minutes in length per agenda item during the Public Testimony on Agenda Items portion of the meeting or immediately prior to an agenda item, subject to the discretion of the Chair of the Puna CDP Action Committee. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Regular Meeting on February 9, 2016. NEW BUSINESS: (5 min) 1. Connectivity and Emergency Response Subcommittee (CERS): Members of the subcommittee will inform the AC on their recent activities and Patti will present a slideshow summarizing connectivity in upper Puna. (20 min) 2. Volcano Long Range Plan Subcommittee (VLRPS): Members of the subcommittee will inform the AC on their recent activities. (10 min) 3. Pahoa Regional Town Center Plan Subcommittee (PRTCPS): Members of the subcommittee will inform the AC on their recent activities. (10 min) 4. Mass Transit Subcommittee (MTS): Members of the subcommittee will inform the AC on their recent activities. (10 min) 5. Town Hall Subcommittee: Members of the subcommittee will inform the AC on their recent activities. (10 min) 6. Budget Subcommittee: The AC will initiate a new Budget Subcommittee for the 2017 -2018 FY. (15 min) Hawai `i County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer 7. Public Access, Open Space & Natural Resources Preservation Commission (PONC) Nominations: The AC will discuss PONC land nominations in Puna and the possible formation of an investigatory subcommittee to handle said nominations. (10 min) 8. Election of Chair and Vice - Chair: The AC will nominate and elect a new Chair and Vice - Chair to serve during the 2016 calendar year. (10 min) 9. Discussion on AC Subcommittees: The AC will discuss the current PCDP AC subcommittees and decide which Action Committee members will represent the AC on each subcommittee. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: NONE AGENDA FOR NEXT MEETING: Agenda item suggestions from the AC for the May 10, 2016 meeting. ADJOURNMENT NOTE: Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service, other reasonable modification, or language interpretation to access this meeting please contact the Planning Department at 961 -8288 as soon as possible, but no later than five working days prior to the meeting date, to arrange for accommodations. "Other reasonable modification" refers to communication methods or devices for people with disabilities who are mentally and/or physically challenged. If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawai'i County Clerk within five days of becoming a lobbyist. (Article 15, Section 2 — 91.3(b), Hawai'i County Code). A lobbyist means, "any individual engaged for pay or other consideration who spends more than five hours in any month or $275 in any six -month period for the purpose of attempting to influence legislative or administrative action my communicating or urging others to communicate with public officials." (Article 15, Section 2 — 91.3(a)(6), Hawai'i County Code).
