ATTENDANCE: John Winter, Carter Colllins and Andi Longpre (minutes by Andi)
EMERGENCY BY-PASS: USE OF PRATT ROAD:
We discussed the sub -committee's upcoming meeting in Hilo. Members of this sub-
committee will meet with the appropriate personnel of those departments that were
unable to attend our January 27th Forum re: Use of Pratt Rd. as an emergency by-
pass if Akoni Pule Highway is closed. As of this date, John Winter and Toni
Withington will attend and present our work to date. They will be asking the
various departments for their input as to how best implement the CDP mandate.
UPDATE FROM ACCESS SUB -COMMITTEE: Carter Collins informed us that on March
2,2016 the Access Sub -Committee will be hosting a presentation for SOLAR
MATTERS (a group that is working on solar powered bike paths). This group has
obtained their 5013C status and has received a letter of support from the National
Parks Service. We had a discussion as to how best approach our two sub-
committees working on such a joint venture.
