We are pleased to announce some upcoming public events for learning about the Draft CDP and providing input: SpeakOuts: The easiest way to learn about and provide feedback on the CDP is to attend one of the SpeakOuts. These are informal, drop-in open houses with information stations based on themes from the CDP. There are three identical SpeakOuts scheduled. Focus Meetings: There will be four presentations and discussions intended to delve deeper into some key CDP issues. There will also be ways to participate in the CDP Draft review process online, and places to review sample hard copies of the plan in your community. Stay tuned, as more details will be available in the next E -Bulletin. To help prepare for the review process, there will be a Steering Committee meeting on March 15th, M6 at the Laupahoehoe Library Humanities Room from 513m - 7pm. This meeting will discuss outreach and the committee members' roles in the review process. This meeting is open to the public but will not discuss draft content. CDP content discussions will be at the events listed in the box at the left. How You Can Help! The CDP Draft review phase is a crucial part of the process and key in developing a successful CDP. You can help the Hamakua CDP be an effective planning tool by getting involved in the review process and helping us get the word out to the community!
