MINUTES
Call to Order: 2:05 p.m.
Call for Approval of Minutes as Circulated (March 22, 2016) - Approved
Present: Patti Pinto, Farris Etterlee, Marlene Hapai, Russel Jones
Old Business:
• Update on Ad hoc Committee initiated by Gregor Ilagan
Connectivity Location Site Visits — Friday October 30, 2015
Report regarding proposed Connectivity Locations TMK's and other
supporting information to acquire connections.
Discussion of amendments suggested at CERS Ad hoc Committee meeting
held on May 11, 2016 at Council Chambers in Hilo.
• Discuss suggested alternative CL's should those presently recommended
not be viable
No alternative CL's suggested at this time
• Update on meeting schedule with the following to gain support for
connectivity implementation:
o Representative Gabbard
o Senator Schatz
o Senator Lorraine Inouye, State Senate Transportation Chair
Will meet with State and Congressional members once assistance at their
respective levels is determined.
New Business:
• Open Discussion on Topics of Concern to CERS members and others in
attendance
In favor of continuing South Lauko Road
Next Meeting: July 26, 2016, Keaau Community Center, Remaining Schedule for 2016:
8/23, 9/27, 10/25, 11/22, 12/27 or as notified.
