VOLCANO LONG RANGE. PLAN - A CHANCE TO HAVE A SAY SO IN YOUR COMMUNITY!
The Volcano Long Range Plan (VLRP) committee is seeking input to deepen its understanding of Volcano community
priorities. To learn more about the VLRP, online survey takers may click here to access the plan:

Because the draft plan is due for a revision, your responses to this survey will help to identify preferences for certain
community actions that have keen proposed in the VLRP.
The survey consists of six major sections:
1. Where is your residency?
2. What are the TOP THREE things you like akout living in Volcano?
5. Your opinions on proposed initiatives. (note 5 & 4 are focused on improvement initiatives in the VLRP)
+ Prom the list of community improvement initiatives, which are the THREE most important items?
5. What, if any, are the top three community services you would like to have in Volcano?
6. Do you agree thatyou have a voice in shaping the future of the Volcano community?
Deadline for receipt of responses is close of business on Friday, October 21, 2016.
Please note that ifyou've already sukmitted the survey online, there's no need to complete this hard copy version of the
survey. Completed surveys may ke returned to Volcano Community Association, P.O. Box 600, Volcano, HI 96785-0600.
Surveys may also ke returned to VCA's takle at the Sunday Volcano Farmer's Market.
The long-term of ions of many Volcano residents supported the initial development and significant revisions of the
Volcano Long Range Plan over three decades. The plan aims to keep the Volcano community as the quaint gateway to the
national park, and as a serene and safe rural community. Other towns and villages in Hawaii are preparing long range
plans, as well. Lack plan will ke different, and will reflect the values of those who live there.
Your answers to this survey will help to guide the actions we as a community will ke takingduringthe coming decades.
