Communication 2016-24 <br />PCDP Subcommittee on Connectivity and Emergency Response <br />Meeting — August 23, 2016, Keaau Community Center <br />2:00 p.m. (Note change in meeting time) <br />MINUTES <br />Call to Order: 2:07 p.m. <br />Present: Patti Pinto, Jon Olson, Danny Paleka, Peter Sur, Stephanie Bath, Marlene Hapai <br />Call for Approval of Minutes as Circulated (July 26, 2016) <br />Minutes moved to be approved: Patti Pinto; seconded: Jon Olson; Unanimously approved <br />Old Business: <br />Update Puna Connectivity Ad hoc Committee Report <br />Fern Acres Community Association voted in favor of Puna Connectivity <br />Report <br />Note: South Lauko flooding, therefore those below road can't get out. <br />• Update on Inter Subdivision Upper Puna Connectivity Work <br />Presented agenda for Neighborhood Watch meeting scheduled for October <br />30th at 10:00 a.m. at the Fern Forest Community Lot which includes items <br />associated with inter subdivision connectivity and the importance of <br />Neighborhood Watch in this endeavor. <br />New Business: <br />• Open Discussion on Topics of Concern to CERS members and others in <br />attendance <br />Note: Important to communicate to CERS members regarding placing Ad hoc <br />Committee Puna Connectivity Report on County Council agenda for <br />October 4, 2016 in Hilo <br />Next Meeting: September 27, 2016, Keaau Community Center, Remaining Schedule for <br />2016: 10/25, 11/22, 12/27 or as notified. <br />Adjournment: 3:10 p.m. <br />
