Call to Order: 2:07 p.m.
Present: Patti Pinto, Jon Olson, Danny Paleka, Peter Sur, Stephanie Bath, Marlene Hapai
Call for Approval of Minutes as Circulated (July 26, 2016)

Old Business:
Update Puna Connectivity Ad hoc Committee Report
Fern Acres Community Association voted in favor of Puna Connectivity
Report
Note: South Lauko flooding, therefore those below road can't get out.
• Update on Inter Subdivision Upper Puna Connectivity Work
Presented agenda for Neighborhood Watch meeting scheduled for October
30th at 10:00 a.m. at the Fern Forest Community Lot which includes items
associated with inter subdivision connectivity and the importance of
Neighborhood Watch in this endeavor.
New Business:
• Open Discussion on Topics of Concern to CERS members and others in
attendance
Note: Important to communicate to CERS members regarding placing Ad hoc
Committee Puna Connectivity Report on County Council agenda for
October 4, 2016 in Hilo
Next Meeting: September 27, 2016, Keaau Community Center, Remaining Schedule for
2016: 10/25, 11/22, 12/27 or as notified.
