ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS 2. Minutes of the Meeting of July 25, 2016 3. Approval of Addendum and/or Supplemental Agenda (requires six (6) votes, and must comply with HRS § 92-7(d)) BUSINESS OF COMMITTEE 1. Reports. Action Committee will review submitted reports and recommended motions and discussion items to place on the next meeting agenda for action. a. General Plan Update Public Meeting and Workshop Attendance Reports – Mark, John, Joel, Jojo & Diane b. Diane will provide a brief update on the updated Archeological Impact Study for the Lava Lava Beach Club Expansion Project as discussed at the Cultural Resources Commission Meeting c. Liaison Reports 1. Kawaihae – Jojo Tanimoto – Jojo will provide information to the AC regarding a power point presentation made by the Kawaihae Liaison Group back in 2012 regarding the group’s working plan www.cohplanningdept.com Hawai`i County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer planning@co.hawaii.hi.us 2. Waikoloa – John Mueller – Ruth Smith will provide the AC with written nd testimony regarding a 2 Access Road for Waikoloa and will briefly discuss with the AC the written testimony. 2. Liaison Groups – Action Committee Involvement – The Action Committee will discuss the makeup of existing liaison groups and make adjustments as needed. 3. Update/Discussion of Agenda Items by Council Members: District 1 – Valerie Poindexter and District 9 – Margaret Wille STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC REGARDING ITEMS ON THE AGENDA ANNOUNCEMENTS  Next Meeting November 28, 2016 – Waimea – Lilly Yoshimatsu Senior Center (Waimea Senior Center) ADJOURNMENT Notice: The purpose of the public hearings is to afford all interested persons a reasonable opportunity to be heard on the above items. According to the Operating Guidelines of the South Kohala Community Development Plan Action Committee, a person desiring to submit oral or written testimony shall indicate her/his name and whether the testimony is on her/his behalf or as a representative of an organization or individual. Written testimony shall be submitted with an original and nine copies prior to testifying. The Committee would appreciate timely submittal to the Planning Department at least one week prior to the hearing date to allow for mailing and thorough Committee review. If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawaii County Clerk within five days of becoming a lobbyist {Article 15, Section 2-91.3 (b), Hawaii County Code}. A lobbyist means “any individual engaged for pay or other consideration who spend more than five hours in any month or $275 in any six-month period for the purpose of attempting to influence legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging others to communicate with public officials.” {Article 15, Section 2-91.3(a) (6), Hawaii County Code}.
