Approval of Addendum and/or Supplemental Agenda (requires six (6) votes, and 2. must comply with HRS § 92-7(d)) Election of Officers 3. BUSINESS OF COMMITTEE SKCDP Implementation. Action Committee will continue ongoing review of 1. SKCDP Goals, Policies and Actions & discuss roles & responsibilities. Update/Discussion of Agenda Items by Planning Director, Duane a. Kanuha or authorized representative. Update/Discussion of Agenda Items by Council Members: District 1 – b. Valerie Poindexter and District 9 – Margaret Wille Discussion of Procedural Protocols for the Action Committee c. i. Fran Tabor and Christopher (Kit) Roehrig will provide the Action Committee with Status of Setting up a g-mail account and present for discussion the propose procedures for the account. The Action Committee will review and discuss the South Kohala Community Development Plan CIP project list for submission to the Planning Department for consideration. Please see attached for the Current Project List. Discussion of Update Issues/Suggestions for the SKCDP/General Plan e. The Action Committee will begin discussion on potential amendments for the SKCDP and the General Plan to be forwarded to the Planning Department. Please see attached for the Issues/Suggestion list. Discussion of Recorder Position for the SKCDPAC f. – The Action Committee will discuss recommendations to the Planning Department regarding job expectations for the Recorder Position. SKCDP AC/PCDP AC – STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC REGARDING ITEMS ON THE AGENDA ANNOUNCEMENTS  Waimea Next Meeting January 27, 2014 – - Lilly Yoshimatsu Senior Center (Waimea Senior Center) ADJOURNMENT Notice: The purpose of the public hearings is to afford all interested persons a reasonable opportunity to be heard on the above items. According to the Operating Guidelines of the Kona Community Development Plan Action Committee, a person desiring to submit oral or written testimony shall indicate her/his name and whether the testimony is on her/his behalf or as a representative of an organization or individual. Written testimony shall be submitted with an original and nine copies prior to testifying. The Committee would appreciate timely submittal to the Planning Department at least one week prior to the hearing date to allow for mailing and thorough Committee review. If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawaii County Clerk within five days of becoming a lobbyist {Article 15, Section 2-91.3 (b), Hawaii County Code}. A lobbyist means “any individual engaged for pay or other consideration who spend more than five hours in any month or $275 in any six-month period for the purpose of attempting to influence legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging others to communicate with public officials.” {Article 15, Section 2-91.3(a) (6), Hawaii County Code}. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service, other reasonable modification, or language interpretation to access this meeting please contact the Planning Department at 961-8288 as soon as possible, but no later than five (5) working days prior to the meeting date, to arrange for accommodations. “Other reasonable modification” refers to communication methods or devices for people with disabilities who are mentally and/or physically challenged PLANNING DIRECTOR Duane Kanuha
