* Sign Permit/Sign Variance Applicants: The Department of Public Works (DPW) requests that
sign permit/sign variance applications which require review by KVDC should be submitted to the
Planning Department at least one week in advance of the KVDC application submittal deadline,
to allow time for: (1) DPW review of the application for completeness and compliance with the
basic dimensional and positioning requirements of the Sign Code and KVDC referral
requirements, and (2) DPW referral to KVDC with required forms, copies and material samples.
