Dear Dr. Jose,
I would like to ask you to attend a meeting on Monday, February 6th, 2017 at 3:00 pm regarding the Fire
Ants problem on Hawai'i Island. This meeting will focus on several things regarding Fire Ants and to get
information for a more comprehensive awareness of the Fire Ants problem. This is in preparation for a formal
presentation to Governor Ige and the State Department of Agriculture in order to address this problem. I would
also like to address the problem of Fire Ants on the domestic animals.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could attend and contribute to the resolution of this problem.
