Dear Major General Logan,
On January 3, 2017,Talmadge Magno was appointed to the position of Civil Defense
Administrator for Hawaii County. In accordance with Chapter 7,Section 7-2(c) of the
Hawaii County Code,"the Deputy Director (Mayor) shall appoint the Civil Defense
Administrator in accordance with the merit system,and the Civil Defense Administrator's
appointment shall be approved by the State Director,"
