It seems that one <br /> day there is a forest that one assumes will exist for millennia, and the next day there are <br /> barren trees comparable to a severe northern winter, but you must accept that they will <br /> not regenerate in the spring, or ever again. <br /> The modest funding requested in HB 1472 would be a small price to pay to save <br /> what remains of this vital natural resource. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> arty Kim <br /> Mayor <br /> County of Hawaii is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer. <br />
