I have been reluctant to single out any particular approach to reducing the suffering of the homeless population, but it would seem that the idea of mobile clinics has the support of both House and Senate, and clearly should move forward. Parochially, when I see that two mobile clinics would be funded under this bill, I am tempted to ask that one be earmarked for the neighbor islands. I would ask you to consider that, but defer to experts in this field as to whether the need is so great on Oahu that both should be located there. Respectfully submitted, Harry Ki Mayor County of Hawaii is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer.
