Farrell of DOCARE to introduce himself, his vision, and the mandates and workload priorities of the department and ways we can assist. 3. Hunting, Fishing, Archery, Outdoor Activity day(s) – This is a follow-up to last year’s effort to showcase our resources with an emphasis on the youth of Hawai’i. 4. Follow-up on where we are at with pursuing the viability of a County run shooting facility to accommodate the overwhelming need for Hawai’i Island’s firearm owners, Police, DOCARE, USDA and a host of other venues that beg its development. 5. NRA Range Development Conference in Indianapolis, March 11-13, 2017. Possible attendance of one or two GMAC commissioners. VIII. New Business: IX. Committee Reports: X. Adjournment: (8:30PM) Executive Session: The Game Management Advisory Commission anticipates it may convene in one or more executive sessions regarding the above matters listed on the agenda, pursuant to HRS Sections 92-4 and 92-5 (a)(4), for the purpose of consulting with the Board’s attorney on questions and issues pertaining to the Commission’s powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities. A 2/3 vote pursuant to HRS Section 92-4 is necessary to hold an executive session. Anyone wishing to discuss an item that does not appear on the agenda should call the commission secretary at 323-4444 or email Donna.Urban-Higuchi@hawaiicounty.gov have the subject placed on the next available agenda.
