Persons wishing to provide oral testimony are asked to submit a completed request form to the Puna CDP project manager prior to the completion of each public testimony portion of the meeting. Oral testimony shall be limited to three (3) minutes in length per agenda item during the Public Testimony on Agenda Items portion of the meeting or immediately prior to an agenda item, subject to the discretion of the Chair of the Puna CDP Action Committee. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: March 14, 2017. BUSINESS: 1. Building in Puna Brochure: The CDP team will provide an update on the status of the Building in Puna brochure. The Action Committee will discuss next steps. 2. Communication No. 2017-10: Draft Letter to the Department of Parks & Recreation: The AC will discuss and decide to transmit a draft letter requesting information on current procedures for permitting farmers' markets in County park facilities. 3. General Plan Comprehensive Review: Members of the Long Range Planning Division will provide an overview of the General Plan Comprehensive Review, its relationship to the CDP, and upcoming opportunities for Action Committee participation. Update from the Connectivity and Emergency Response Subcommittee (CERS) (Patti Pinto): The purpose of the CERS is to follow the vision and the mission of the PCDP in implementing connectivity actions related to the overall theme of health and safety. Members of the subcommittee will infonn the AC on their recent activities, which is reflected in the following communication: — Communication No. 2017-9: CERS discussion on continued connectivity work for Upper Puna and the gathering of infonnation on connectivity issues in Puna Waena. ACTION COMMITTEE CAPACITY BUILDING 5. GIS ArcReader Training: The AC will be introduced to the GIS ArcReader program and the data available from the Planning Department that can be used with the program. The AC will also be shown how to use some of the tools that ArcReader has to view and analyze data layers.
