Kūhiō Kalaniana‘ole Park Closed for
Volunteer Projects
The Hawai‘i County Department of Parks and Recreation
announces the closure of Kūhiō Kalaniana‘ole Park in Hilo on
Saturday, June 3, 2017 and June 10, 2017 from 7:00am –
3:00pm.
The department is working with two volunteers groups to install
three new picnic tables and three new benches at the park. Each
Saturday will be closed for preparations and pouring of the
concrete pads which the tables and benches will be installed on.
The department appreciates the public’s assistance and
