PUBLIC TESTIMONY ON AGENDA ITEMS:
Testimony shall be limited to items on the agenda. Persons wishing to provide oral testimony are asked to
submit a completed request form to the Puna CDP project manager prior to the completion of each public
testimony portion of the meeting. Oral testimony shall be limited to three (3) minutes in length per agenda item
during the Public Testimony on Agenda Items portion of the meeting or immediately prior to an agenda item,
subject to the discretion of the Chair of the Puna CDP Action Committee.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: May 9, 2017.
BUSINESS:
1. General Plan Comprehensive Review: Members of the Long Range Planning Division will
provide an overview of scenario planning as it relates to the General Plan Comprehensive
Review. This will include using scenario planning to explore the Puna CDP Planning Area.
The Action Committee will have an opportunity for questions, discussion, and
recommendations to the Planning Director.
BUSINESS NOT REQUIRING ACTION:
2. Update on the Status of the Pahoa Plan: Planning Department staff will inform the AC on
the current status of the Pahoa Plan.
AGENDA FOR NEXT MEETING: Agenda item suggestions from the AC for the July 11, 2017
meeting.
