Community Meeting Focused on Natural Hazard Preparedness
June 23 & 24, 2017
Mark your calendars for Friday and Saturday , June 23 & 24.
Join State Representative Mark Nakashima and several private and public sector emergency
readiness groups to learn what you can do to prepare your family and home for the 2017
hurricane season. At this free event, you will learn to be prepared by having emergency supplies,
an evacuation plan, necessary insurance and making home retrofits.
Remember these dates:
Friday, June 23. The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 7:30 p.m. at the Ernest B. De Silva
Elementary School in Hilo.
Saturday, June 24, 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Honokaa Intermediate and High School cafeteria.
