We will continue to do our part in helping to achieve this goal for the County of Hawai'i. It has come to my attention that the Hawai'i Finance and Development Corporation is planning to sell six (6) state-owned affordable housing projects which includes the La'ilani Apartments in Kailua- Kona. I am very much interested in sitting down with you to discuss the possibility of transferring the ownership and control of La'ilani to our County. I firmly believe that we could effectively manage the project and make it an integral piece of our overall affordable housing plan. I look forward to you contacting me to discuss this issue. Thank you very much. Ve Trul .urs, HARRY KI Mayor, County of Hawai'i County of Hawaii is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer.
