LEEWARD PLANNING COMMISSION
JULY 20, 2017
The public meeting and hearings scheduled by the County of Hawai‘i Leeward Planning
Commission on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at the West Hawai‘i Civic Center, Building G,
74-5044 Ane Keohokālole Highway, Kailua-Kona, Hawai‘i, have been cancelled. The hearings
were scheduled for:
NEW BUSINESS
1. APPLICANT: MARTIN M. OHAN TRUST (REZ 17-000219)
Application for a Change of Zone from an Agricultural-5 acre (A-5a) to a Family
Agricultural-1 acre (FA-1a) zoning district for approximately 5.966 acres of land. The parcel

is situated south of Hi‘olani Street, at the end of Lalei Street, Kalaoa 4 – Oʻoma 1, North
Kona, Hawai‘i, TMK: 7-3-005:112.
2. APPLICANT: T & M PROPERTIES, LLC (REZ 17-000220)
Request to amend Condition C (Complete Construction), Condition N (Fair Share
Contribution), and add a new condition to allow an administrative time extension, of 1)
Ordinance No. 09-049, which amended Ordinance No. 92-036, which reclassified 5.52 acres
of land from Unplanned (U) and Double-Family Residential - 3,750 square feet (RD-3.75) to
Multiple-Family Residential - 2,500 square feet (RM-2.5) and Village Commercial – 7,500
square feet (CV-7.5) and 2) Ordinance No. 09-050, which amended Ordinance No. 86-049,
which reclassified 1.04 acres of land from Multiple Family Residential - 2,000 square feet
(RM-2) to Village Commercial - 7,500 square feet (CV-7.5). The subject property is located
along the north and east side of Hualālai Road, northwest of the Aloha Kona Subdivision,

and 067).
