(3) 4-5-006:014 Hunoka`a, Hamakua, Hawaii I am pleased to offer support for the inclusion of the M.S Botelho Building & Garage on the Hawaii Register of Historic Places. After review of the nomination materials, we arc of the opinion that the building meets criteria A and C of §13-198-8, Hawaii Administrative Rules, and criteria A and C of §60 4, Code of Federal Regulations, for inclusion on the Hawai i Register and nomination to the National Register of Histonc Places. The Hawai`i County Cultural Resources Commission (CRC) considered the draft nomination matenals at their advertised public meeting on July 12, 2017, and unanimously voted to support its inclusion on the Registers. Listing of the M S Botelho Building & Garage to the Hawai`i Register of Historic Places will help to preserve a portion of the heritage that makes our County special.
