I'm writing to say how sorry I am to have missed the visit to Hilo of your students and
Sumoto officials, due to a family visit on the Mainland.
Thank you very much for your generous omiyage.
My staff tell me that your students were perfectly charming and friendly, and a true
credit to your city. They made a wonderful impression on everyone here.
I do hope that your students' stay on our Island was enjoyable, and we look forward to
