Greetings from Hilo and the Big Island! On behalf of the people of the County of
Hawai'i, I would like to thank you and the people of Yurihama for hosting the students
and advisors of the Hilo Intermediate School Builders Club, escorted by our friend, Ms.
Amy Aoyagi, during their upcoming visit to your beautiful town on October 4 - 13, 2017
For many students, this will be their first visit to Japan and will be staying with host
families We appreciate the hospitality of the host families as the experience will enable
these students to learn firsthand about Japanese culture, customs, language, and
lifestyle The students have worked hard to participate in this life -changing opportunity
The County of Hawai'i is proud to be a part of a sister -city relationship with Yurihama It
