Traffic Pattern Changes Planned for Volcano and Glenwood Transfer Stations
The Department of Environmental Management Solid Waste Division announces that, beginning
December 4, 2017, weather permitting, the traffic patterns at both Volcano and Glenwood
Transfer Stations will be changed.
New traffic markings and signage will be installed reversing the direction of traffic within both
transfer stations. The changes in the traffic pattern at both transfer stations will discontinue the
crossing of vehicular traffic and be consistent with current roadway and traffic design standards.
The Department of Environmental Management Solid Waste Division asks the public to please
use caution when accessing both the Glenwood and Volcano Transfer Stations.
