These questions need clarification to insure the readiness and capability of the Counties to respond to the siren system change effective December 1, 2017. Will the sirens be activated by the State of Hawai'i Emergency Management Agency Statewide? Will the sirensounding change be accompanied by a specific EAS message to identify the siren sounding? Will the Counties be given advancedinformation on the messages? Who will be responsible for post impact responsibilities? o Radioactivity monitoring o All clear to leave shelters When will the annex to the State plan regarding this nuclearscenariobe completed and distributedto the Counties soas to enable the Counties to prepare theirplan?
