Dear Mr. Lui:
I'm writing to thank you most sincerely for your timely assistance when Hawaii
County experienced a critical failure of one of its network switches, an Alcatel 7710.
As you may know, that switch failure brought down our entire network. While we
were able to find a temporary fix, and we were searching desperately for a permanent
solution to our predicament.
Our IT Director Jules Ung tells me that you were instrumental in providing a
spare switch to support our public safety systems, free of charge.
We are most grateful to you and Hawaiian Telcom. It's really good to know that
we have friends who have our backs.
