Dear Mr. Fear:
You have diligently served as a commissioner on the Environmental
Management Commission of the County of Hawaii since April 22, 2014. During your
tenure as a commissioner, you have been steadfast in your commitment to advising the
County in its efforts to be a responsible steward of the environment. As today is your
last meeting as a commissioner, I wanted to thank you for taking on the tasks required
of the Environmental Management Commission for the past four years.
Your consistent advocacy and untiring voice on the Commission are deeply
appreciated by Director Kucharski and me. As a commissioner, you provided inspiring
community leadership by organizing and executing numerous beach clean-up events.
Not only are our beaches cleaner and safer through your untiring efforts, but you have
also engaged our youth to participate and in so doing inspired a stewardship ethic that
will serve Hawaii for decades to come.
I want to personally thank you for your service to the people of the County of
Hawaii. Director Kucharski and I hope your voice, ideas, and inspirations will continue
in the years to come.
