I. PROCEDURE PURPOSE
a. Adoption of Chapter 6 from the 2007 Supplement to the 2006
International Residential Code.
II. RELEVANT LAW
a. Hawaii County Code Chapter 5 and International Building & Residential
Codes (IBC, IRC 2006 ed.)
III. SUMMARY OF LAWS
Chapter 6 of the 2007 Supplement is being adopted as an amendment to
the 2006 International Residential Code. The supplement modifies
several sections from Chapter 6 of the 2006 IRC, in response to
comments and issues with the original sections.
