NEW BUSINESS
Discussion and deliberation on Commissioner Scott Susman's request for access to the
Fire Department's internal departmental memos on behalf of the commission.
EXECUTIVE SESSION RE: COMMISSIONER SUSMAN'S REQUEST FOR MEMOS
The Commission anticipates convening executive session, closed to the public, pursuant
to Hawaii Revised Statutes, Sections 92-4 and 92-5(a)(4), for the purpose of consulting
with the Commission's attorney on questions and issues pertaining to its powers, duties,
privileges, immunities, and liabilities.
CHAIR'S REPORT ON MATTERS OF INTEREST TO THE COMMISSION
Update on commission vacancies.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
The commission's next monthly meeting will be held on May 9, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. in the
Aupuni Center Conference, 101 Pauahi St., Hilo, Hawaii.
