It is not often that a ns
true see of pride and confidence is felt when writing a letter of supp�orl and
endorsement for an individual. Ms. Diane Ley Is currently the Director of the Hawai"i County Researcli and
Development Department. She was selected by me to serve in that position with no consideration giveti to any
other individuals. Ms. Ley first worKed with me as the Department Drector of Research and Developryient back
in 20+ 1. It was during these 8 years as Director that her, work ethics, trustworthiness, and pure dedication to
good and and work came to be known, to all that worked with her. After this, past election Ms,. Ley was asked
by me to serve in a higher position,, however, declined as she felt she could be of better service to the
community as the Research and Development Director. This is, Ms., Ley!
Ms. Diane Ley would be a credit and a tremendous asset to the Board of Agriculture if confinned. I am
honored to be able to endorse Ms. Ley. Thank you for the consideration and hopefully the confirmation of Ms.,
Diane Ley.
