Subject: Hamakua community development plan
Aloha kakou!
I am writing simply to express my concern over an element in the Hamakua Community Development Plan
(CDP) which is being publicly heard now. I am a resident of Paauilo and therefore withiri_
the district under discussion. -
I believe that the plan's misconceived objective of establishing "viewsheds" on the Hamakua
Coast could restrict the agricultural practices of owners and users of ag-zoned land.
