Statements from the public regarding any particular item on the agenda will be taken at the time the particular item is called to order. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Minutes of November 13, 2017 Regular session meeting WRITTEN COMMUNICATION: None CHAIRPERSON'S REPORT:. Chairperson Kekaulike Tomich to provide comments and/or information relating to matters of concern to the Commission. DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE REPORT: Property Manager Hamana Ventura will answer any questions from the commissioners regarding the items of financial matters and other concerns. Hawai`i County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer OFFICE OF THE CORPORATION COUNSEL'S REPORT Deputy Corporation Counsel Amy Self to address any comments and/or information relating to matters of concern to the Commission. Ms. Self will provide a training on the State Sunshine Law to the Commissioners. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: None NEW BUSINESS: 1. Commissioners to report to Commission of any community meetings/and or Community Development Plan (CDP) Action Committees meetings attended. 2. Commissioners to discuss, review, and approve PONC site visit criteria for reporting their resulting findings and recommendations to the entire Commission pursuant to HRS § 92- 2.5(b)(1). ANNOUNCEMENTS: > The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 12, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Hilo Council Chambers, 25 Aupuni Street, Suite #1401, Hilo, Hawai'i 96720 > Set agenda for Monday, Monday, March 12, 2018 ADJOURNMENT; Submitting Written Testimony: Those submitting written testimony at the meeting should bring twelve (12) copies for distribution. Public testimony may also be submitted before 12:00 noon on the business day prior to the meeting: (1) by mail to: County of Hawai'i, PONC Commission at 25 Aupuni Street, Suite 1101, Hilo, HI 96720; (2) by facsimile to (808) 961-8248; or (3) email to: ponctestimonyhawaiicounty.gov. Please submit separate testimony for each item. NOTICE TO LOBBYISTS If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawai'i County Clerk within five days of becoming a lobbyist. {Article 15, Section 2-91.3(b), Hawai'i County Code} A lobbyist means, "any individual engaged for pay or other consideration who spends more than five hours in any month or $275 in any six-month period for the purpose of attempting to influence legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging others to communicate with public officials."
