POLICE COMMISSION, COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />Pursuant to § 91-3, Hawaii Revised Statutes, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public <br />hearing will be held by the Police Commission of the County of Hawaii for the purpose <br />of considering proposed amendments to its rules and regulations at the date, time, and <br />location indicated below. <br />Date: July 20, 2018 <br />Time: 9:00 a.m. <br />Place: West Hawaii Civic Center, Building G Conference Room <br />74-5044 Ane Keohokalole Highway, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii <br />The proposed amendments include, but are not limited to, the following: <br />• Amends rule on committees. <br />• Amends rule on location of monthly meetings. <br />• Repeals rule on use of an official seal. <br />• Repeals rule on commission inquiries. <br />• Amends rule on filing, processing, and considering complaints. <br />• Repeals classification guidelines for standards of conduct. <br />• Amends rule on classification of case findings. <br />A copy of the proposed amended rules may be obtained at the office of the Police <br />Commission, 101 Pauahi St., Suite 9, Hilo, Hawaii, Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. <br />to 4:30 p.m. Interested persons may call (808) 932-2950 for a mailed or e-mailed copy. <br />There is a required fee for a copy and required postage. All written comments should <br />be mailed or delivered to the Police Commission's office or e-mailed to: <br />0osie.pelayo(a�hawaiicounty.gov at least five days before the hearing.
