Incident: Brushfire – Highway 190
This is a Civil Defense Message for Friday, June 22 at 12:15 in the afternoon.
The Hawaii County Fire Department reports that Highway 190 near 18-mile marker
Pu’uanahulu is closed due to a brushfire.
Due to the fire, the following alternate routes are available:
Queen Kaahumanu Highway from Kaiminani Drive or Waikoloa Road.
This situation will be monitored and you will be informed should conditions change.
