<br /> <br /> <br />Cash Assistance for Kilauea Survivors in Hawaii from Tzu Chi USA on Sunday, <br />July 22 <br /> <br /> <br />Date <br />July 22, 2018 · Sunday <br /> <br />Time <br />9:30 am - 3:30 pm <br /> <br />Location <br />Kea’au High School Building G <br /> <br /> <br />Body <br />Tzu Chi USA, in cooperation with Hawai’i County and American Red Cross, will hold its <br />third and final financial aid distribution to Hawai’i County residents affected by the <br />Kilauea volcanic eruption on Hawaii’s Big Island. <br /> <br />Eruption-affected residents should join us this Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Kea’au High <br />School Building G, 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., to receive cash assistance and emotional <br />support. <br /> <br />Residents who live in the mandatory evacuation areas or whose homes have been <br />fully or partially destroyed due to the lava eruption are eligible to receive aid. <br /> <br />To qualify for this cash assistance from Tzu Chi USA, you need to first visit the Disaster <br />Recovery Center at the Kea’au High School Gym to pre-register with the American Red <br />Cross during their regular hours, Monday-Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 5 p.m. <br /> <br />In addition, residents with proven medical disability or children under 6 years of age <br />who have evacuated from voluntary evacuation areas due to poor air quality may be <br />eligible for aid if they can show that they have been denied assistance from FEMA or <br />Red Cross, and can show proof of financial hardship. <br /> <br /> <br />
