RE:Land Fund
Aloha,
I would like to express my concern regarding the 2%Land Fund.I would like to see this
reinstated on behalf of our future generations.There is not enough land for public use on
this island.By setting aside and purchasing selected parcels,we will ensure that there
will be undeveloped property for future generations.63%of the population voted for
this.It should be followed through.My husband and friends also feel the same way.The
people voted on this in 2006.It should not be up to the chater commision to change
this.Now is the time to save land from development.Please consider the publics view as
that is who should be represented.This may be late for the Jan.21st meeting but just
want to express my concerns over this issue.Please reinstate the 2%Land Fund.
