RE: Land Fund
Aloha Daphne Honma, David Fuertes, Alapaki Nahale, Casey Jarman:
Please support the 2% land fund. It is essential that our future generation of young
people have open places in order to connect with the land, their culture and their
heritage.
A good example of this was the recent event in Kohala--Ka Hana Noe'au. Mr. David
Fuertes, who I had a pleasure of meeting, this weekend did an excellent job of
connecting our young people to the land and their elders/mentors. Without a land,
our young people will not be able to continue to perpetuate the legacy of our
ancestors.
Please support the 2% land fund.
