David Fuertes, Daphne Honma, Casey Jarman and Alapaki Nahale Concerning restoration of the 2% land fund #1 If 63% of the voters on this island voted YES on creating a 2% land fund what right does an Administration, County Council, or Charter Commission have to over ride citizens' vote? PLEASE consider the citizens to whom you are accountable PUT THE 2% LAND FUND ON THE BALLOT and let the VOTERS DECIDE! #2 TO: David Fuertes, Dalphne Honma, Casey Jarman, Alapaki Nahale Apart from a rare emergency, is there any valid reason why you were not present for the previous vote on the 2% land matter? The issue is serious If citizens take the time to consider a matter and vote on it the assumption is made that the resulting law will be followed When changes are proposed and that serious matter is placed in the hands of a commission upon which you sit, won't you think it is important that you give that matter your full attention? #3 TO: David Fuertes, Daphne Honma, Casey Jarman and Alapaki Nahale-A. MAHALO to each of you for serving on the Charter commission and for honoring the voter's directive by voting yes on the 2% land matter Elizabeth Hardy me@haii.net
