2% LAND FUND
Aloha:
Please continue with the 2% fund for purchase of conservation land. I have lived here for
53 years and watched our 'aina developed by private land owners. Our historical sites are
more than ever in danger of development. I am afraid that my mo'opuna will not
experience the 'aina as I have and my parents before me. Jobs come and go however,
once the land is developed it will never be the same.
The people chose by vote to put 2% of the funds for this purpose. As representatives of
the "people" you are obligated to hear our voices.
