Aloha Charter Commission Members,
Please make the Land Fund 2%; that was, and is still, the intent of the voters.
The current poll running in West Hawaii Today regarding O'oma, for instance, shows
respondents are favoring open space/conservation
69% to 27%, which tells me most are in favor of preserving open space - and that takes
money.
For the past year, I have not talked to a single resident who has changed their mind on
support of a 2% Land Fund proposal despite a poor economy, in fact, most are adamant.
Please support a 2% Land Fund question on the ballot, let the people decide. (again)
