Sirs:
Common Cause/Hawaii would like to offer its assistance to the
County Charter Commission in the formulation of a sunset
provision for periodic review of county boards and agencies .
We have previously communicated with Stanley Nakamae who
informed us of Mayor Matayoshi ' s sunset proposal.
Common Cause has done major research and has an extensive file
on various sunset proposals and we would like to share these
with the Commission.
We would also like the opportunity to review and comment on
the mayor' s sunset proposal.

regarding our proposal. Good luck in future deliberations .
