To grant pensions to employees and former employees who are
or. were ineligible to the benefits of the employees retirement
system, and are not the recipients or beneficiaries of pension
from the State or any county. ( PART IV - SEC. 88-181 HRS )
To serve as Board of Trustees of the Policemen, Firemen, and
Bandsmen Pension System per County of Hawaii Charter and
Part III - Sec. 88-153,

ANNUAL PENSION PAID OUT $ 360 , 000 APPROX.
1/1/52 - Per diem workers, in service on this date, shall become
eligible for membership but not required to so long as he remains
a per diem worker and he withdraws as a member prior to 10/2/53 .
All persons employed as per diem workers after 12/31/51, shall
become members of the employees retirement system.
