Dear Mr . Sakata :
Since we feel strongly about dissemination of information
to help voters make informed choices at election time and
one of the priorities of the County Committee on the Status
of Women, is to help increase public participation in govern-
ment , we would like to offer our help to the Charter Review
Commission and to the County of Hawaii to encourage women
and their families to register to vote ; help publicize
location and availability of county registrars ; and to dis-
tribute information about the proposed changes in the County
Charter prior to the election at which the changes will be
presented for a vote.
