HAWAIICOUNTY CHARTER COMMISSION <br /> MINUTES <br /> 20th Session <br /> May 29, 1979 <br /> Hilo, Hawaii <br /> The twentieth session of the Hawaii County Charter <br /> Commission was called to order at 4: 11 p.m. in the Hawaii <br /> County Councilroom, Hawaii County Building, Hilo, Hawaii, <br /> by Mr. Kimiaki Sakata, Chairman. <br /> The roll recorded the following: <br /> Present: Mr. Richard Ishida <br /> Mrs. Amy Iwamoto <br /> Mrs. Gloria Kobayashi <br /> Mr. Akira. Omonaka <br /> Mr. Kimiaki Sakata <br /> Mr. Herman Sensano <br /> Mr. Joseph Trulson <br /> Mr. Basilio Yagong <br /> Mr. Matsuo Yanaga <br /> Absent Mr. Harlan Cadinha <br /> and Mr. Spencer Kalani Schutte <br /> Excused: <br /> Also Mr. Stuart Oda, Attorney <br /> Present: Mrs. Joan Carnett, Secretary <br /> APPROVAL The Chair called for approval of Minutes dated <br /> OF MINUTES: May 8, 1979. <br /> Motion was made by Mr. Trulson <br /> to approve minutes of May 8, as <br /> submitted. Seconded by Mrs. <br /> Kobayashi and unanimously carried. <br /> COMMUNI- The following communications were considered: <br /> CATIONS: <br /> Comm. 48: Copy of correspondence from Sherwood Greenwell <br /> to Garry Garrison, dated May 1 , 1979, submitting <br /> his resignation from committee on charter review <br /> of Kona Coast Chamber of Commerce. <br />
